Before installing any firmware version, back up your configuration and read all release notes that apply to versions more recent than the one currently running on your system.

Do not manually reboot your system at any time during an update unless otherwise instructed by Barracuda Networks Technical Support. Depending on your current firmware version and other system factors, updating can take up to 10 minutes. If the process takes longer, contact Barracuda Networks Technical Support for further assistance.

Known Issue

  • In the High Availability environment, deleting a Layer 4 service or editing the server associated with the Layer 4 service in the Passive unit is not handled properly in the backend. It is recommended to perform these operations on the Active unit. [BNADC-5795]

Fixes

  • Setting Application Security to Disable for a service disrupted the data path traffic due to a conflict with the response body rewrite rules. This issue has been fixed. [BNADC-7751]
  • Setting Application Security to Disable for a service was causing a slow memory leak. This issue has been fixed. [BNADC-8695] [BNADC-8951]
  • An issue with incorrect links to the stats files sometimes resulted in the GUI becoming temporarily unavailable. This issue has been fixed. [BNADC-8797][BNADC-8864]
  • DNS requests are now handled properly. [BNADC-8832] [BNADC-8926]
  • For High Availability deployments, the failover to the backup system was not being triggered when the active system went into the fault state. This issue has been fixed. [BNADC-8900]
  • The memory consumed for each HTTP/HTTPS request in the data path has been reduced to optimize memory usage in lower-end models. [BNADC-8931]
