Status LED

Your appliance is equipped with a variety of LEDs and acoustic signals. Barracuda CloudGen Firewall F12 has on the front side one power LED (blue), one disc LED (green), one status LED (red) and 4 port LEDs and on the back side one power button LED and various port LEDs. Two acoustic signals indicate status of installation.

LED Color Status Meaning

All LED Off


Appliance is powered off or installation has not initialized far enough for LED control when installation is started.

Power LED front side - BLUE


Appliance is plugged in and On.

Status LED front side - GREEN


Box runs normal or Installation finished successfully.

Status LED front side - RED


Appliance is halted and may be disconnected / An error has appeared preventing the Barracuda CloudGen Firewall from entering the up state.

Status LED front side - GREEN

Blinking slowly (1/s interfal)

Normal installation / Appliance is either booting, shutting down, or performing a system update.
