Scope:
Barracuda Email Security Service, All firmware versions.

Answer:

A: This error means that the linking code being entered has already been used in BESS for another account

The linking code can only be used in one account at a time and if you try to use it in a second account you will get the error

"Duplicate serial or linking code found"

To use an existing linking code for another account you will need first to remove the linking code from the account currently using it.

1. Log into the account with the linking code
2. Click the "remove serial" link

You will now be able to add the linking code to the new account.
