Solution #00004204
Scope:
This solution applies to all Barracuda Web Filters.
Answer:
The easiest way to find out why a domain did not properly load its content would be to navigate to Basic > Web Log of the Barracuda Web Filter and search the logs there. You can run different search filters to break down the amount of information available. In this instance, facebook.com is given as an example of a web site that did not display as it should. Some filters to search why facebook.com loaded but is missing its images/content would be:
Filter 1: Source IP or User Name
Click on the ?+? symbol to add additional filters.
Filter 2: Destination; Pattern: facebook.com
The results will show all Facebook-related content the user or Source IP tried to access.
High-traffic domains such as facebook.com usually have separate domains serving their content to offload the amount of connections. In this particular case, facebook.com goes out to a separate domain known as fbcdn.net to process content.
