Barracuda and Zscaler have decided to terminate their partnership agreement. As a result, Barracuda will no longer sell the web security solution that was powered by Zscaler. The last day of sale is July 31, 2018.
Who will support existing customers?
Barracuda will continue to support existing customers for one year from their initial purchase or most recent renewal. Since we have only sold licenses for the solution in one-year increments, the last possible date of Barracuda support will be July 31, 2019.
What happens to customers who are up for renewal after the August 1 EOS date?
No further renewals will be available after July 31, 2018. Customers that wish to maintain the service with Zscaler can renew with Zscaler directly. There is no guarantee that Zscaler will offer the same price, terms, or plans. As an example, the Barracuda Basic package included SSL inspection, but the equivalent Zscaler plan (“Professional”) lists SSL inspection as an additional-charge feature.
