Scope:

Applies to the Barracuda Legacy Purewire Adapter.

 

Answer:

Follow these steps to reboot or shutdown your Legacy Purewire Adapter:

  1. Using a SSH client (e.g. PuTTY).
  2. Log in using the default credentials (pwadmin/pwadmin).
  3. Run the following command and enter the pwadmin password when prompted:

    sudo /opt/purewire/pw_cfg

 

This will display all the available options:

 

To shutdown (halt) the gateway you will need to use the following command:

 

sudo /opt/purewire/pw_cfg halt

 

To reboot the gateway you will need to use the following command:
 
sudo /opt/purewire/pw_cfg reboot
