Applies to Barracuda Web Security Agent and the Barracuda Web Security Flex.
If a Barracuda Web Security Agent installation results in an NTService error, check the following:
- Check to see if the BarracudaWSAHelper service is running and/or started. In XP, you can find this by going to Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services. In Vista, you can find this by going to Control Panel > System and Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Services.
- If it
is not running, then open a command prompt and go into c:\windows\system32
and run the following commands:
regsvr32 /u mswinsck.ocx
- Uninstall the current install of WSA.
- Reboot the machine and retry the WSA install.
