Web Security Agent versions below 4.2.3 and using Auto update
Customers using these older versions must first manually update the clients to the latest version before auto update will work properly.
Customers should first enable “allow update” in the profile on Web Filter or WSS and then sync those settings.
If silent mode is enabled that should be disabled so that the update can be manually set as well or they can upgrade by downloading the newest version and installing manually.
Customers running these old versions should first manually update the clients by right clicking the icon in the tray and selecting check for updates. This should display a popup asking you to confirm downloading the update and the process will continue.
If customer has any systems using WSA version 126.96.36.199 they should manually uninstall and then reinstall the new version.
