The Yosemite Server Backup Service lets you run backup jobs automatically and unattended. The service makes sure your scheduled backup jobs run even when the machine reboots after a power loss. You may need to stop the service while it is running or start it up again if the service is interrupted. You may also need to start up the service manually in certain circumstances.
