Setting a Password to Uninstall the Avast Agent from Devices

If you require a password to uninstall the Avast Agent, any user in a site who wants to uninstall the Avast Agent has to provide the password before uninstalling from their device. Setting a password for uninstalling the Avast Agent is not required, but adds an extra level of security in the case of an end user trying to uninstall Avast Antivirus.

1. In Service Center, click Site Management > Sites.
2. Click the site you want to edit.
3. Click the Configuration tab.
4. In the Modify Avast Agent Settings section, click Modify.
5. Select the Require Password for Uninstall check box.
6. Type a password in the Password box.
7. Type the same password in the Confirm Password box.
8. Click Save.
