Scope:
This solution replies to:
- NG Firewall firmware versions 4.2.x,5.0.x, 5.2.x
- netfence firmware versions 4.2.x

 
Symptoms:

The "Control" > "Processes" lists three average system load values in a status line:

 

2:51 pm up 10 days, 20:55, 1 user, load average: 0.48, 0.38, 0.36 138MB of 249MB


What do these values stand for?

 
 

Solution:

The listed values stand for average CPU loads within the following time spans:

 

1st value: Load within the last minute.
2nd value: Load within the last five minutes.
3rd value: Load within the last fifteen minutes.
