Solution #00005210

Scope:
This solution replies to:
- NG Firewall firmware versions 4.2.x, 5.0.x, 5.2.x
- netfence firmware versions 4.2.x

Symptoms:

How to import a legacy phion VPN-Pool license on a Control Centre or a Single Box.

Note:

This article affects only legacy phion licenses. Barracuda NG Firewall licenses includes unlimited Client2Site user licenses.

Solution:

The legacy phion VPN-Pool licenses (000xxx-VPN-SECURE-x and 000xxx-VPN-SMART-x), independent of the host-id binding to a single MAC (single license) or the CC-MASTER string (pool license), have to be importet into the "VPN Service" always directly in "Config" > "Box" > "Virtual Servers" > "<Servername>" > "Assigned Services" > "<Servicename>" > "Client to Site" > "Barracuda CA".

Any other import to "CC Pool Licenses" or "Box Licenses" does NOT work.
