Scope:
This solution replies to:
- NG Network Access Client versions 2.0-SPx
- Entegra Client versions 1.0-SPx, 2.0-SPx

 
Symptoms:

You get the following error message in the vpn client log while trying to connect to the vpn server:

 

  ERROR: Crypto Key Provider dosn't support native RSA CryptEncrypt/CryptDecrypt.


 

Solution:

The used crypto service provider (i.e.: Smartcard from aTrust) does not support native RSA access.

 

The client-option "Probe Encryption" ("VPN profile" > "Properties" tab >"Connection Entries") is set to "no" (default: no). The probe encryption will therefore not be executed prior to the actual connect.
