This solution replies to:
- NG Firewall firmware versions 4.2.x, 5.0.x, 5.2.x
- netfence firmware versions 4.2.x

 
Symptoms:

How to configure a mail program (e.g. Outlook Express) to get mails from a webaccount through the POP3 engine of the mailgateway?


 
Solution:

Configure your mail program with this steps.

 

1) As POP3 server use the internal mailgateway IP.

 

2) Enter as account name your email login name with the original POP3 server name and port:

  myloginname#mail.provider.com:110
