This solution replies to:
- NG Firewall firmware versions 4.2.x, 5.0.x
- netfence firmware versions 4.2.x

Answer:

In the network configuration it's possible to configure more than one subnet on one device. NG Firewall supports Multinetting, but the IP address of the Multihomed networks needs to be a box layer IP address (that can be configured inside the Network Configuration). It is not allowed to configure the IP address as a server IP or bring it up as a proxy ARP.

Example:

eth0 has configured subnet 10.0.0.0/8, 192.168.1.0/8, 172.16.10.0/8

Management IP = 10.0.0.1

Additional Local IP1 = 192.168.1.1

Additional Local IP2 = 172.16.10.1
