Solution #00005295
This solution replies to:
- NG Firewall firmware versions 4.2.x

If a legacy netfence L appliance is upgraded with a network-module, SDR will not work on this appliance any more.
Trying to recover the appliance with SDR, the appliance display shows:

SDR-sticks are preconfigured for each appliance model and hardware configuration. Changing the hardware configuration of an appliance makes the SDR stick unusable for disaster recovery.

Please get in contact with secudos to obtain an appropriate configuration file. The new configuration file has to be copied to your SDR stick to initiate a successful disaster recovery.
Before contacting secudos, please prepare your appliance serial number as well as the new hardware configuration.
