This solution applies to all Polycom Phones.
Answer:There is a known issue with some Polycom firmware versions that causes the unit to run out of memory and reboot in certain scenarios. This requires a phone firmware update to version 3.3.1 or later.
If you are experiencing this issue, please contact support. Support staff can confirm if the issue is related to the Polycom firmware bug, and update the firmware downloaded from the Barracuda Phone System to resolve this issue for you.
Note: If you are configuring the Polycom Phones using a third party provisioning server, or by configuring the phones as Generic SIP Devices, the Barracuda Phone System will not be able to automatically update the firmware as it can only update the firmware during the provisioning process.
