Scope:
This solution applies to Barracuda SSL VPNs, all firmware versions.

Answer:
A network place is a resource pointing to a file sever or shared folder. These resources can then be accessed either via the web interface, or via Web Folders/WebDAV. There are several supported types of network places:
  • Windows network share
  • FTP
  • SFTP
