Barracuda SSL VPN

How can I configure Network Connector on my Barracuda SSL VPN?

  • Type: Knowledgebase

Solution #00003742

Scope:

This solution applies to Barracuda SSL VPNs, all firmware versions.

Answer:

Go to Resources > Network Connector. Click on Configure Network under the Actions header.

Review the automatically generated settings for Network and IP Address and modify them if appropriate. The default values should be fine in most cases. You should select a DHCP range that contains a sufficient number of addresses concomitant with the number of users you expect to use the Network Connector feature concurrently.

Select the policies to which you would like to attach the Client Configuration of the resource and click Add. Once you have finished, click Save. Switch to the user database this resource will appear on by selecting the appropriate choice from the drop down menu in the upper right of the web interface.

Additional Notes:

Network Connector will give out IP addresses via DHCP to any network connect clients and this range has to be within the same range as the rest of the network (there can be exceptions to this rule), therefore any DHCP range defined in Network Connector must be removed from the scope of the main DHCP server on the network.
