Barracuda SSL VPN

Why am I unable to publish extra subnets for Mac clients using Network Connector for my Barracuda SSL VPN in firmware version 1.6?

Solution #00004605

Scope:

Applies to Barracuda SSL VPN, firmware version 1.6.

Answer:

In Barracuda SSL VPN firmware version 1.6, you cannot use Up commands to publish additional routes to Mac clients. Instead, you would use the following procedure:

  1. Log in to sslexplorer interface as ssladmin.
  2. Navigate to Resources > Network Connector.
  3. Hit Edit next to Server Interface.

Under the routing heading, you can add any additional subnets in Published Networks in CIDR notation. These routes will get pushed out to Mac clients only. Windows and Linux clients will still require Up commands. For instruction on adding Up commands, reference Solution # 00004455.

Up commands for Mac clients will be available in firmware version 2.0.
