What can I do if resources that were previously available to users are no longer being displayed in the User Console section of my Barracuda SSL VPN?

This solution applies to all Barracuda SSL VPN units.

In many cases this issue is caused by an option being set that restricts the available resources to those that are assigned to the same policy as the one used by the authentication scheme the user used to login.

ACCESS CONTROL > Configuration > Policy Options, Policy Restriction has 3 options:

  1. No restriction
  2. To signed on auth scheme policies
  3. To signed on auth scheme policies and Personal policies
This behavior will occur if this option is set to either options 2 or 3. This is the intended behavior of the option, however, there are two ways to resolve the behavior.
  1. Change the Policy Restriction option to option 1, No restriction.
  2. Change the ensure that the authentication scheme and resources are all assigned to the same policies for the desired level of access for the auth scheme used.
