Scope:This solution applies to the Barracuda SSL VPN, firmware version 1.7.x and above.
Setup the secondary Ethernet
interface’s TCP/IP attributes. Once changes are saved, the unit will
go to an updating state.
If you experience time-out issues, hit the back button in your browser and then refresh / hit F5.
Log in to the HTTPS-side interface as
Navigate to Resources; subcategory Configuration. Scroll down to the section entitled “Network Connector”:
In this section, we see that the unit
has the default setting of port 0. This means only the primary
Ethernet interface has been assigned a network connector port; port 0
When adding in the secondary interface you must choose a
secondary port. Something above 1024 is advisable; normally the network connector
uses 1194. Keep in mind this port’s traffic will need to be routed
to the secondary Ethernet adapters’ address. Simply add in the
secondary port, click add, and then save changes.
BE AWARE this will require a service restart; and will kick off all users. You will be warned beforehand.
Now it’s time to setup the secondary network connector instance that runs/listens on the 2nd Ethernet adapter.
Navigate to the Resources > Network Connector section and you should see this:
Click on “Configure Network 2” and you will see the same configuration options that you normally see when setting up network connector. Once done inputting your values you will be prompted for a service restart, which again will kick off any connector users.
You will need to route the traffic from
the internet and back out on the port you chose in step #2. Other
than that it works in the exact same fashion as a single server
adapter for the network connector.
