How do I fix an "AgentLauncher not found" error on my Barracuda SSL VPN?

Solution #00005779

This solution applies to the Barracuda SSL VPN, all firmware versions.

You may sometimes come across the following error when attempting to launch the Agent:

load: class com.sslexplorer.agent.client.launcher.AgentLauncher not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sslexplorer.agent.client.launcher.AgentLauncher
at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass0(Unknown Source)
at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadCode(Unknown Source)
at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager$AppletExecutionRunnable.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sslexplorer.agent.client.launcher.AgentLauncher

The most common cause of this relates to settings for Anonymous WebDAV.

Log on to the SSL VPN as ssladmin and navigate to Resources > Configuration > Resources. You will probably find that Allow Anonymous WebDAV has been set to No. Change this setting to Yes, then log off and back again.

The Agent should now launch correctly.
