This solution applies to all Barracuda SSL VPNs, all firmware versions.
If you are using Server Agents with your Barracuda SSL VPN and you find that the Server Agent service does not start correctly, please check what SSL Ciphers you have configured on the SSL VPN.
If you have configured the 'Use all Ciphers' setting to No on the appliance, this setting will significantly reduce the number of Ciphers that will be used, to a set of 4 RC4 ciphers for example. Unfortunately at this time, the SSL VPN Server Agents do not support the RC4 SSL Ciphers, so the only workaround would be to re-enable one of the CBC Ciphers.
You can get more information on why a Server Agent is failing by getting a copy of the Server Agent log file and providing it to Barracuda Networks Technical Support.
The log file can be (typically) be found in the following location on a Windows machine:
C:\Program Files (x86)\sslexplorer-securenode\logs\secure-node-client.log and wrapper.log
