Solution #00004586

Scope:
Applies to Barracuda Web Security Flex.

Answer:

If you need to copy a Barracuda Web Security Agent configuration from one machine to the other there is a file you can copy over that holds this information. The configuration changes can be made to a single machine and then this file can be retrieved and used to be pushed out to additional clients via a GPO.

The file is located here:

Windows XP

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Purewire\Remote\remote.ini

OR

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Barracuda\WSA\wsa.ini

AND

C:\windows\system32\barracudawsaoff.ini (encyrpted file that contains application bypass).

Windows Vista (may have to display hidden files/folders):

C:\ProgramData\Purewire\Remote\remote.ini or C:\ProgramData\Barracuda\WSA\WSA.ini

Windows 7

C:\ProgramData\Barracuda\WSA\WSA.ini
