Viewing Assessment Details

  • Last updated on

From each site’s Site Security Overview page, you can navigate to the Assessment Details pages. On the Assessment Details pages, you can see the scores and titles of tests in the assessment. You can also click the tests for additional information, such as the number of devices at risk and suggested countermeasures.

Assessment Details pages are affected by custom Security Schemas. If a test is removed from a schema, it doesn’t appear on the Details pages. If all the tests in a category are removed, that category doesn’t appear on the Details pages.

The Assessment Details pages are:

  • Site Security Assessment Details Page—Displays all the tests in the security assessment.
  • Endpoint Security Assessment Details Page—Displays only the tests that relate to endpoint security.
  • Patch Security Assessment Details Page—Displays only the tests that relate to patch management.
  • User Security Assessment Details Page—Displays only the tests that relate to local user and domain accounts, and local user and domain policies.
  • Network Security Assessment Details Page—Displays only the tests that relate to the User Account Control security policy setting and Wi-Fi networks.

The options you choose become the default. Whenever you log in with this user name, these will be the default options. However, you can change them at any time.

To Export the Results of a Patch Security Assessment

Exporting the results of the Patch Security Assessment gives you a CSV file that you can open in a spreadsheet application. This information lets you easily identify patches that are missing on devices.

The CSV contains the following columns for each patch:

  • Category
  • Product
  • Site Name
  • Device Name
  • Patch Title

With this data, you can find and install missing patches on the devices that need them.

  1. In Service Center, click Dashboards > Site Security Dashboard.

  2. Click a site link.

  3. Click the number in the Patch Security box.

  4. Click the Export Patch Details button on the right.

The CSV file downloads to the Downloads folder on your computer.

The Network Security category tests run against WLAN profiles that can be found on managed devices. WLAN profiles are saved to devices when users choose to connect to Wi-Fi networks automatically. WLAN profiles that have been deleted from a device do not contribute to the Network Security assessment.
