You can create a Barracuda Content Shield Policy by:
- Creating a new policy, or
- Copying an existing policy.
If you copy an existing policy, the alert rules in the policy are copied, but the policy isn’t applied to any sites.
Once you have created your policy, you can add alert configurations to it.
To create a Barracuda Content Shield policy
- In Service Center, click Service Delivery > Policies > Content Shield.
- Click New.
- In the Policy Name box, type a name.
- Optionally, type a description for the Content Shield policy.
- Click Create.
- Add a new alert configuration to the Content Shield policy. See Adding Alert Configurations to a Barracuda Content Shield Policy.
- Do one of the following:
- To use automatic inclusion, see Applying Barracuda Content Shield policies to Sites Automatically.
- To apply the policy to sites manually, see Applying Barracuda Content Shield policies to sites manually.
To copy a Barracuda Content Shield policy
- In Service Center, click Service Delivery > Policies > Content Shield.
- Select the check box beside the name of the monitoring policy you want to copy.
- Click Copy.
- In the Policy Name box, change the name of the policy, if required. Copied policies are automatically given a (1) suffix.
- In the Description box, provide a description of the policy.
- Click Create.
To edit a Barracuda Content Shield policy
- In Service Center, click Service Delivery > Policies > Content Shield.
- Click the name of the policy you want to edit.
