Before you schedule a script or automation package for use in a policy or task, you can modify them by doing any of the following:
- For scripts, you can create a copy of the script, (See Copying Scripts, Automation Packages, and Quick Tasks) then modify how the script runs by:
- Changing the parameters.
- Specifying whether the script has a dedicated execution.
- Setting whether to run on Onsite Manager. (See About Script Parameters.)
- For automation packages, you can add a notification for script results. This is recommended when you suspect the task schedule will create an alert for certain script results. This notification flag also emails script execution results to the scheduler.
- For scripts in a package, specify a script outcome that results in the termination of the package execution.
- For both scripts and automation packages, you can set up a quick task, in which you specify some or all of the parameters that will be run when the quick task is scheduled. For more information, see Adding a Quick Task .
You can also prepare your own scripts for use in Barracuda RMM. For more information, see About Adding Scripts.
