Setting up Barracuda Content Shield Integrations

For security reasons, only the built-in admin can set up a Barracuda Content Shield integration. The built-in admin is the user who set up Barracuda RMM. If you are not a built-in admin user, you do not have the rights to set up a Barracuda Content Shield integration.

You also need the following:

  • A valid Barracuda Content Shield account.
  • A Barracuda Cloud Control account connected to your Barracuda Content Shield account. For more information, see https://campus.barracuda.com/product/cloudcontrol/.
  • Your Barracuda Cloud Control Credentials.
  • If your Barracuda Cloud Control account has Multi-Factor Authentication enabled, you need your authentication device.

You can add one Barracuda Content Shield integration per VAR.

Barracuda Content Shield organizes information differently than Barracuda RMM. The terminology used by Barracuda Content Shield and Barracuda RMM may differ.

Once the integration is complete, you see the following information associated with that Barracuda Content Shield license:

  • A summary of your Barracuda Content Shield threats.
  • A summary of your Barracuda Content Shield threat agents.
  • A summary of your Barracuda Content Shield threat licenses.
