Scan Now is available for devices that:
- are WMI-enabled,
- are up,
- have Microsoft Defender enabled, and
- have a Microsoft Defender policy applied to them.
- In Service Center, click Status > Devices.
- Click the name of a device that has a Microsoft Defender policy applied.
- In the right navigation menu, click Microsoft Defender AV.
- Click Scan Now.
When the scan begins, a status message is displayed at the top of the page. Click the X to close this message.
