The Barracuda SecureEdge Manager allows administrators to configure and authenticate Microsoft Entra ID as an identity provider for the workspace.
Configure Microsoft Entra ID
An identity provider enforces authentication for both users when enrolling a new device and for administrators that select SSO authentication. To add Microsoft Entra ID as an identity provider:
Go to https://se.barracudanetworks.com and log in with your existing Barracuda Cloud Control account.
In the left menu, click the Tenants/Workspaces icon and select the workspace you want to configure Microsoft Entra ID as an identity provider for.
In the left menu, click Identity > Settings.
The Settings page opens. To select the identity provider you wish to make a connection for, click Add Identity Provider.
From the drop-down menu, select Microsoft Entra ID.
The Add Identity Provider page opens. Specify the values for the following:
Display Name – Enter display name.
Tenant ID – Enter your tenant ID.
Click Save.
In the Identity Providers table, you can see that the identity provider Microsoft Entra ID has been added and that under the fieldname STATUS there is the warning Authorization Needed.
To authenticate with your identity provider, click Authorization Needed. Provide your admin Microsoft Entra ID credentials and click Sign in.
The Permission requested page opens. Click Accept.
In the Identity Provider table, you can now see that under the field name STATUS the text now states Active with a green check mark.
Edit Microsoft Entra ID
To edit the Microsoft Entra ID identity provider:
In the left menu, click the Tenants/Workspaces icon and select the workspace you want to edit the Microsoft Entra ID identity provider for.
Go to Identity > Settings.
The Settings page opens. In the Identity Providers section, you can see that Microsoft Entra ID is displayed as your identity provider.
To edit your Microsoft Entra ID account, click on the pencil icon.
The Edit Identity Provider page opens. Edit the value you are interested in. For example, Display Name. Note: You cannot change the value for tenant ID because the option Tenant ID is disabled.
Click Save.
Remove Microsoft Entra ID
Go to Identity > Settings. The Settings page opens.
In the Identity Providers section, you can see that Microsoft Entra ID is displayed as your identity provider.
To remove Microsoft Entra ID, click on the trash can icon.
The Remove Identity Provider page opens.
Click OK to confirm.
(Optional) Test Microsoft Entra ID
If you must test Microsoft Entra ID quickly, proceed with the following steps:
On the Settings page in the Identity Providers section, click the icon of three vertical dots to test the identity provider.
Click Test Identity Provider.
To authenticate your identity provider, follow the on-screen authentication instructions for Microsoft Entra ID. Note: If you are already signed in with Microsoft SSO authentication, you will be automatically logged in to your account.
After logging into your account, you receive the confirmation message that the authentication was successful.
