Potential Incidents Settings

When an event occurs that is or could be an incident, you can choose to automatically report it to people in your organization.

  1. Log into Incident Response

  2. From the menu on the left side of the app, click on the Settings icon settings-icon.png

  3. On the Settings menu that opens, select Potential incidents. Settings are as follows:

    • Send an email alert to the security team when a potential incident is detected – If set to Yes a notification about the potential incident will be sent to the email address of your choice.
      If set to No. A notification will not be sent.

    • Use email address provided in the manual remediation settings – If set to Yes the notification will be sent to the email address already configured on the Manual remediation page.
      If set to No, you must add an email address here that will receive any potential incident notifications.
