The Tasks page displays a list of the actions, or tasks, initiated by you from the Search page. The Tasks list displays the following information:
Task – The type of action (Tag, Export, Forward) taken including additional details such as names or destinations, where appropriate.
Message count – Number of messages associated with the task.
Username – Username of the user associated with the task.
Date – The date and time the action was initiated.
Status – The results of the executed task.
Note: If an Export or Forward task detected one or more viruses amongst the messages involved, there is a link named Virus that displays a list of all of the infected messages that were a part of the task. Each entry in that list is a link to bring up that message in a separate, secure viewer.
Actions – List of additional actions available with this task.
Download – Only available for Export tasks. All completed exports remain retrievable via this link for as long as this task is listed here.
Delete – Permanently deletes this entry from the Tasks list. All associated files, including those generated by an Export command, are also deleted.
Admins Only: The User Filter menu provides the following options:
All Tasks - Displays all tasks for users and admins.
Admin Tasks - Displays only admin tasks.
To cancel a task, click the Cancel link next to the task name.
To delete multiple tasks, select the checkbox to the left of the tasks you want to delete, and then click Delete selected in the toolbar.
To refresh the task list, click the Refresh icon in the toolbar.
