If you are encountering issues with the Barracuda Backup Appliance showing offline or have agent connection issues and are on a firmware older than 6.5.01, follow the steps below.
Update the firmware on your Barracuda Backup appliance. See the instructions in the following article under Firmware Settings, Notifications, and Updates Administration.
When the firmware update is finished, remove the current Barracuda Backup Agent and install the new agent on each data source that uses it. Follow the step-by-step guide here Protecting Microsoft Windows Systems.
Note that if your appliance has a serial number older than 820000, you will need to replace the ca.crt
file in the installed Barracuda Backup Agent.
