Barracuda SecureEdge

Notifications

  • Last updated on

The Barracuda SecureEdge Manager allows you to create notifications for administrative and system events across all workspaces. Notifications inform users or administrators about alerts and can be configured according to user preferences. The Notifications page displays all notifications configured in the selected workspace. The Notification History Logs page shows all notifications sent to users via email with their Status in the selected workspace.

SecureEdge Notifications let you do the following:

  • Create notification profiles with unique names and multiple email addresses

  • Choose from event types and notification scopes across All Sites, All Edge Services, Custom Sites and Edge Services, and SecureEdge Manager

  • Send notification alerts to specified email addresses

  • Manages notification thresholds for infrastructure and security events, allowing administrators to avoid unnecessary alerts

  • Generate notifications for events requiring attention, such as potential security threats, infrastructure issues, configuration changes, or license states

  • Manage all event types in a unified, extensible, and observable way to ensure consistency, scalability, and transparency across scopes

The SecureEdge Notification service is designed to ingest, process, and deliver alerts across multiple categories of events and scopes. These include the following:

  • Audit Events – Administrative/User actions and configuration changes.
