Migrating to Version 2.0

Barracuda Cloud Security Guardian version 2.0 was launched on September 1, 2020.

If you started using Barracuda Cloud Security Guardian before this date, read this article for important information.
If you started using Barracuda Cloud Security Guardian after this date, this article is not relevant for you.

New Version Information

Refer to the Release Notes for information on this new version.

Moving to the New System

Check the following table for information on which components are affected.

Cloud Connections (Accounts)	No action required	Your existing cloud connections (accounts and subscriptions) with AWS and Azure are now connected to the new version.
Security Policies	Default: No action required Custom: Migration required	If you only used default security policies, no action is required. Any customized security policies you might have created were not migrated to the new version. You can recreate them yourself, as described in Creating a Security Policy, or contact CSG_Support@barracuda.com and a Barracuda engineer will assist you in migrating your policies
Deployed Firewalls and WAFs	Separate management	Any Barracuda Firewalls and WAFs that you might have deployed are still active, but for now, you cannot manage them from within Barracuda Cloud Security Guardian.
