Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is a standard protocol that gives identity providers (IdP) such as CloudGen Access a secure way to let users access a service provider such as Jira Cloud, Slack, and others. SAML authentication can be configured for enrolling devices through a specific identity provider.
Configure SAML
To configure SAML:
- Go to Identity > Settings.
- In the Authentication Protocol section, click Activate Provider.
- Click on SAML 2.0.
- Your provider will require the following fields:
- Identifier (Entity ID)
- Assertion Consumer Service URL
- SSO URL
- Follow one of the provider-specific steps below to obtain the required fields:
- Entity ID
- Redirect URL (SSO URL)
- Certificate
