Assign an Application to Your Container

  • Last updated on

Once you have Deployed a Container it can host your WAF applications.

An application can be assigned to only one container. However, a container can hold multiple applications.

  1. On the Barracuda WAF-as-a-Service web interface, click Applications in the left panel.

  2. On the Applications page, click on the application that you want to deploy in the container.

  3. From Endpoints click to edit the Deployment Location.

  4. Check the box to Deploy this application in my own container.

    • If you instead choose to deploy in an existing WAF-as-a-Service region, the added benefits of using your own container will not be realized.

  5. Select your container from the dropdown and  Save .

You can move an application from one container to another. If the encryption keys do not match those used by the destination container, the SSL keys and certificates must be uploaded again.

  6. Note the ports that the application's domains are using.

  7. Return to  Container Management .

  8. Open the  Actions  menu for your container and select  Ports Mapping  to see the actual mapping for your container.

Depending on your infrastructure, you may need to change the  Mapping of Container Ports .
