How to Enable Interface Monitoring in a High Availability Cluster

  • Last updated on

Barracuda SecureEdge allows you to monitor static LAN or WAN ports of appliances configured as a High Availability cluster. If this option is enabled, you can specify ports for monitoring. In case one of the monitored interfaces is down, a failover will be performed.

Note that enabling the HA Failover feature in the WAN/LAN settings of either sites or Edge Services can cause both appliances to shut down if ALL monitored connection is offline on both partners.

Enable Interface Monitoring on a WAN Interface

  1. Go to https://se.barracudanetworks.com and log in with your existing Barracuda Cloud Control account.

  2. Select the workspace containing your site.
  3. In the left menu, click the Infrastructure icon, and select Sites
