The VMware ESXi service module presents VMware data in a dashboard format, allowing you to view data at a high level, and then drill down to investigate issues on a host or guest machine, and take action. For example, you can put a host machine in maintenance mode and reboot it, or you can create a guest snapshot, consolidate snapshots, and revert to the previous snapshot.
On the VMware service module dashboards, you can get an aggregated view of the configuration and status of virtual environments across all sites, and then drill down to a specific site, an alert, host details or guest details.
Each VMware dashboard has a banner displayed at the top, with links to all VMware alerts at that level of information - multi-site, site, host, or guest. The banner at the top of the VMware multi-site dashboard provides links to information about active alerts and managed hosts from all sites.
