From the VARAdmin Hosted Console, you can generate a password reset link to send to a user. Once the link is generated, you can send the link to the user through email or another option. The link is not automatically sent to the user.
You may want to do this if the user has lost access to their account and cannot receive Service Center email.
Requirement
To request a reset link for a user password
- In the Hosted Console website, click Status > VAR Dashboard.
- Click a VAR link.
- Click the General Information tab.
- In the Password Reset for Service Center User section, type the user’s username.
- Click Request Reset.
- Copy the link next to Reset Link and send it to the user.
