Setting the Antivirus Schedule

The AV schedule determines when Antivirus scans, virus definition updates, and program updates occur. The AV schedule only affects the integrated Avast Business Antivirus program.

Scheduling Antivirus Scans

The Antivirus scan schedule determines when and how often your integrated Antivirus scans are performed on devices.

To Schedule Antivirus Scans for Avast Business Antivirus

1. In the AV Schedules section, click the first link in the Schedule column of the AV Scans row (Begins with the word Run).

2. Do one of the following:

   • To run the antivirus scan every day, click Daily.
   • To run the scan once a week, click Weekly, then select the day of the week to run.
   • To run the scan once a month, click Monthly, then type a number in the Day box.

   If you select 1, the schedule runs on the first day of the month, 2 on the second day, and so on.

3. Type the time the scan begins in the corresponding box.
   You can also click the clock icon and select a time from the list.
4. Click Save.
