Selecting Where Backups Are Stored for Intronis Backup Policies

If you select the Online and Local option when selecting where to store backups, the backup is saved locally first, and then the backup is uploaded to the cloud.

The option you choose for storage location (Online and Local or Online Only) cannot be changed after you create the policy. However, you can change the Local Vault path and credentials after the policy is created.

To select where to store backups for an Intronis Backup Policy

1. In Service Center, click Service Delivery > Policies > Intronis Backup.
2. Click one of the following:
   • Files and Folders
   • Physical Imaging Standard
3. Click the name of the policy you want to edit.
4. Click the Settings tab.
5. Click Modify.
6. Click the Select tab.
7. In Storage Location, select one of the following:
   • Online and Local

   • Online Only
     

     You can’t change your Storage Location selection after the policy is created.
8. Click Save.
