Backup Agent Deployment and Required Reboots

The deployment of the Intronis Backup Agent begins when the policy is applied, not during the execution.

On certain older operating systems, you have to reboot devices after agents deploy. These devices are indicated on the Device Report page with the status Deployed Pending Reboot.

Best Practice After deploying agents, see if devices require reboots by going to the Device Report page at Barracuda Networks products > Intronis Backup > Device Report.
