Configuring Exempt Status Code

  • Last updated on

The Exempt Status Code setting allows you to specify HTTP response status codes that needs to be exempted from cloaking at the URL policy level. You can configure different status codes for each URL policy associated with an application.

To enable cloaking for status codes at the URL level, ensure that the Cloak Status Code option is set to ON under RESPONSE CLOAKING > Response Cloaking in the application's settings.

note
  • The Exempt Status Code feature flag must be enabled in the backend to allow status code cloaking at the URL level.

  • If the feature flag is not enabled, URL-level cloaking will not be applied even if the response status codes are configured and the Cloak Status Code is set to ON. In this scenario, the global cloaking policy will be enforced on requests.
