  • Type: Knowledgebase
  • Date changed: 2 years ago
Solution #00007499

Scope:

ArchiveOne Enterprise, all versions

Answer:

SYMPTOMS

When attempting to open the ArchiveOne Admin console, you receive an error message:

"MSG0002: There is a problem with your license key. Check on the license page for more details"

When reviewing the Licence tab on the configuration settings, you receive the following errors:

"MSG1249: The license string has the wrong Exchange site or admin group name - refusing use of license"

"MSG1113: There is a problem with your license key. Check on the 'License' or 'Mailboxes' pages for more details"

The ArchiveOne service tracing also confirms the issue:

13 12:29:53 410129 AddToTaskHistory: Licensing problem found - site is different to license key

13 12:29:53 416267 *** INFO:Check licence failed

ROOT CAUSE

The Site or Admin group specified in the licence string is incorrect. For Exchange 2007 and later, the 'Site or Admin Group' value in the licence string is not applicable. If you have upgraded your version of Exchange, then your licence key will need to be updated to reflect this change.
