ArchiveOne Search displays no folders if a user logs in with their email address

When a user logs in to the ArchiveOne Search website with their username, then the list of folders in the archive displays as expected. However when the same user uses their email address to log in, the login is successful but no folders are displayed.


An Active Directory (AD) query is performed to identify the user and determine which archived mailboxes they have access to. It is assumed that the login username is in the DOMAIN\USERNAME format. The AD query will fail if the username is in the form USERNAME@DOMAIN and thus no archived content is displayed, even though initial access has been granted.


Advise users to login using the format DOMAIN\USERNAME.
