How to perform an in-place upgrade of ArchiveOne Enterprise (Compliance)

  • Type: Knowledgebase
  • Date changed: 2 years ago
Solution # 00007571

Scope: ArchiveOne Enterprise, v6.5.3 or earlier

Answer:

OVERVIEW
N.B. ArchiveOne Enterprise Compliance was combined with ArchiveOne Enterprise Policy since v6.6 and is no longer a separate software installation. If you are not running v6.6. or later, please contact Barracuda Support to upgrade to the latest ArchiveOne release.

If you are upgrading ArchiveOne Enterprise (Compliance) from version 6.5.1 or later to v6.5.3 then you can perform an in-place upgrade. You do not need to uninstall the existing version first. If you are running a version earlier than v6.5.1, you should upgrade by uninstalling and reinstalling.

If you are not certain whether to perform an in-place upgrade or upgrade via uninstall/reinstall, then please contact your Barracuda Support representative for advice.
