Barracuda Backup

What size subscription plans are available for use with my Barracuda Backup Service? How do I calculate how much offsite storage I need?

Solution #00003985

Scope:
All Barracuda Backup Servers, all firmware versions.

Answer:

Barracuda Backup Subscription plans are offered at multiple levels – 100GB, 200GB, 300GB, 500GB, 1,000GB, 1,500GB, 2,000GB, 3,000GB and 5,000GB.

For most backup scenarios, a plan size can be determined by measuring the total amount of uncompressed data you plan to backup (in gigabytes), plus the estimated amount of compressed and deduplicated historic data you plan to retain. This can be translated to roughly 1.5 times the amount of data you intend to backup. This method should provide enough storage for your current data and additional room for historic data.
