Solution #00005948

Scope:
This solution applies to the Barracuda Backup Agent when in use with Windows 2003/Vista/7/2008.

Answer:

In some cases, you may experience issues with snapshot backups, and the Windows Event logs may show a message like:

The shadow copies of volume C: were deleted because the shadow copy storage could not grow in time.
Consider reducing the IO load on the system or choose a shadow copy storage volume that is not being shadow copied.

    5. Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, and type a new paging file size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set.
  3. Set shadow copies on drive to unlimited or move shadow copies to different partition:
  4. Ensure that the Backup Agent is installed on a drive with enough space to make a temporary copy of the backup.
